Ali Tabbalat

Ali is a former member of Jordan’s national squash team, where he represented Jordan at the junior, as well at the senior level, in many occasions including; Arab, Asian and International championships since 1997. Though he quit playing for the national team in 2005 to pursue his career in Finance & Investments, his enthusiasm for the game and the development of Jordan’s squash was never hindered, by having the willingness to become an international squash referee and taking initiatives to support the federation.

During his stay at the United Kingdom to pursue his masters degree and career, he attended the “British Open” tournament, for the last three years, the elitist tournament in world squash, were he observed world class referees and sensed the evolution of the new squash rules, which became permanent.

Ali holds a BA degree in Business administration, an MBA in Finance from the University of Wales, and currently enrolled for the Charted Financial Analyst designation (CFA). Ali is a senior financial Analyst at DEERA investment and real estate development company, a public share holding company, where he is responsible for portfolio, financing and equity investment coordination. He is also an occasional writer at the Jordan Times on financial & economic issues
